Where did the name “biotronette” come from?

The biotronette mark 3 is an environmental chamber built in 1969, used for biological experiments that require temperature, light, and humidity control. Julia found one at a university reuse warehouse and transformed it into a mid-century-modern germination chamber, thus spawning a love of repurposing random industrial and scientific materials and methods.
